Take part in the Giro d'Italia at home

You will need to start up the BKOOL Cycling Simulator. When you scroll down on the Home page, you will find various sections dedicated to different events and locations, one of which will be entirely dedicated to the Giro d’Italia Virtual 2022. Within this section you will find the available stages for the Giro d’Italia Virtual 2022, so you will be able to ride them whenever you want. As soon as you have chosen the stage you want to ride, all you need to do is click on the stage, press play and enjoy.

Likewise, you can find more information regarding the Giro d’Italia Virtual in the Events section on the BKOOL website. You can also programme a stage from the Giro d’Italia from the website by clicking on the stage which you wish to complete, and then click on ‘Program’ in the top left-hand corner. When you next go to the BKOOL Cycling Simulator, you can scroll down to the very bottom of the page to find the sessions which you have programmed.

All you need is a BKOOL Premium subscription to be able to access Giro d'Italia Virtual 2022. All the Giro d'Italia Virtual content is included within the standard BKOOL Premium subscription.

Android

The Simulator can only be run on Android devices with 7.0 or later, with at least 2GB RAM, OpenGL 3.0 and ARM64 V8A. On devices with less than 3 GB RAM, the Simulator will run in low resolution.

iOS

The Simulator can only be run on iOS devices with 12.0 or later. On devices with less than 2 GB RAM, the Simulator will run in low resolution.

Windows

On devices with Windows 7 or 8, the Simulator can be run, but we cannot guarantee that the Simulator will run correctly.

On devices with Windows 8.1, the Simulator can be run but this operating system does not support Bluetooth and the quality of pairing of sensors cannot be guaranteed.

In operating systems with less than 8 GB Ram, the Simulator can run but:

If it has 4 GB, the memory is below the minimum requirement and it is not possible to ensure the quality and performance of the app.

If it has less than 4 GB, the 3D will be in low resolution.

MacOS

The Simulator can be run on devices with MacOS 10.13 or later, and which also below to one of the following groups:

-MacBook 2015 or later

-MacBook Air 2012 or later

-MacBook Pro 2012 or later

-Mac Mini 2012 or later

-iMac 2012 or later

-Mac Pro late-2013 or later, as well as models from mid-2013 and mid-2012 with the recommended Metal-capable graphic card.

In operating systems with less than 8 GB Ram, the Simulator can be run but:

-If it has 4 GB, the memory is below the minimum requirement and it is not possible to ensure the quality and performance of the app.

-If it has less than 4 GB, the 3D will be in low resolution.
